Concrete Floors
The majority of Ideal buildings are constructed on a concrete floor slab with perimeter footings. Preparation of the site, boxing the foundation and pouring the concrete slab is all handled by our experienced teams.
Timber Floors
Building your sleepout on a timber floor gives you the flexibility to relocate the building at a future date if needed. A timber floor is also a practical choice for a sloping site.
Frames & Trusses
All Ideal buildings are constructed with high-strength, kiln-dried Laserframe structural timber treated to minimum H1.2 level. Our structural engineers design the timber structure to perform in the variety of snow and wind conditions common around New Zealand.
Stud Heights
There are four stud heights available to suit your vehicle and storage needs. The Thrifty range is available in 2.1m and 2.4m, and the Classic range is available in 2.1m, 2.4m, 2.7m and 3.0m.
