"Ideal Buildings Coromandel were contracted to build a 140sqm garage at our property in Whitianga. This was a major project as it required a large amount of excavation and retaining walls built for site preparation. In addition to the garage site, a large area of concrete work behind the house was included by way of a variation to the contract, this has now included concreting the driveway in front of the garage and part way down the drive. The principals of the business, Jason and Paulette Hoyland, have been an absolute pleasure to work with throughout the project. We cannot speak more highly of their professionalism, their excellent work standards, communication and willingness to go that extra mile in order to ensure we were totally happy with their work and progress. Nothing was too hard for Jason to handle during the build despite some atrocious weather adding to the challenges faced. Paulette worked diligently behind the scenes dealing with council matters, consents, getting materials and sub-contractors to site as and when required. Not living on site as yet, we were totally dependent on Jason and Paulette working to the contract brief and their regular communications to keep us informed of progress. If you are looking for a team of people that deliver excellence and beyond, look no further than Jason and Paulette Hoyland and their staff. After a lengthy search we selected Mountain to Sea Construction IDEAL Buildings Coromandel to build our 7/4m shed with a lean-to of a similar footprint.
Jason and Paulette made a site visit to help us finalise the design. They were very patient in the planning stage (we did change our mind a bit). The contract was straight forward. The construction schedule unfolded on time even though of COVID threatened delays. The construction team were a pleasure to have on our property.
Communications throughout the build with Jason and Paulette were relaxed and overall they were awesome to deal with and we can’t fault them. We are very happy with the design and workmanship.
